Beige Check Tweed

£280.00

Inspired by a timeless cut and silhouette, finding the perfect balance of high rise, double pleats and strong creases, functional and comfortable design and quality fabrics, reviving true quality clothing. Cut from deadstock beige check wool tweed and hand crafted in London, UK. Made to order, dispatching by the end of November.

The model is 5'7"/170cm and 70kg and wears a 30" waist 29" inseam.

Description

Inspired by classic men's trouser cuts from the early to mid 20th century, the Il Classico draws on the founder's British and Italian heritage and an appreciation for American tailoring. A high rise, double forward pleats and strong front creases give it the long, clean line of a 1940s trouser, while a wide, full leg lets the cloth hang and move the way tailoring is meant to.

This pair is cut from a deadstock wool tweed in a beige check. Tweed brings texture and structure to a wide-legged trouser: the check gives depth up close, while the tone stays easy to wear with navy, brown, cream or black. A trouser for autumn and winter that gets better the more you wear it.

Sizing

Our trousers are designed to sit at the natural waist with a relaxed, full cut leg.

All measurements are taken from the garment laid flat. For the best fit, we recommend measuring a pair of trousers you already own and comparing it to the size chart.

  • Measure the waist across, then double it
  • Measure inside leg from crotch to hem
  • Compare to our chart below

If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Care

To maintain the beauty and integrity of these trousers, we recommend treating them with care. Simple maintenance practices can effectively preserve their longevity. We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.

To preserve the fit and fabric, do not hand or machine wash, as this can lead to shrinkage or deformation. For best results, have them professionally cleaned at a dry cleaner.
